MSSN is an acronym for the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria. It is an Islamic organization whose members range from Muslim students of various categories to working-class Muslims. The hierarchical structure of the organization includes the National Secretariat, zones, area units, area councils and branches which are spread all over Nigeria. Some of the aims and objectives of the society are as follow:

1. To bring all Muslims in closer union of brotherhood and absolute faith in Allah as the only basis for the achievement of peace among mankind.
2. To establish an Islamic Ummah governed by the principles and rules of the Shariah.
3. To promote the general welfare of the Muslims and safeguard their fundamental human rights in any community.
4. To champion the cause of the oppressed anywhere in the world.

The Ilorin Central Branch of the society is under the control of Kwara State Area Unit. It is one of the various arms which comprises working-class Muslims from various works of life and works to achieve the above-listed goals of the society. Oasis Muslim Care Fund (OMCF) is one of the several platforms which have been laid down by Ilorin Central Branch to achieve the aims of the society. We see this project as a means of reaching out to Muslims who are in difficult situations (in the spirit of brotherhood) in order to ease their situations as much as possible.
